After downloading the file in .onepkg format, you can open it with the OneNote desktop version for Windows.
Where can I get the OneNote desktop version?
You can download OneNote for free. The program is also part of Office 2019 and Microsoft 365.
Do the templates also work under Windows 11?
Yes, the OneNote desktop app that comes preinstalled with Windows 11 can easily open the templates in onepkg format.
Can I also use the templates with the OneNote app for Windows 10?
You can open the template with OneNote Desktop-Version and from there move it to the OneDrive cloud via File > Info > Settings > Share or Move . The template is then online and can be opened via OneDrive with the OneNote app for Windows 10 (by clicking Notebooks > More Notebooks ).
Can the templates also be used on the Mac?
OneNote for MacOS can only access notebooks that are in OneDrive. This means that you have to move the onepkg file to the cloud.
The “Share” function allows you to save a notebook to OneDrive using OneNote for Windows. Attention! This does not mean simply copying the onepkg file to OneDrive. It is more about sharing it with the cloud using the internal OneNote “Share” function:
1. Open your already created notebook with OneNote for Windows.
2. Click on File > Share.
3. Select the “OneDrive – Personal” option and click on the “Move Notebook” button.
As soon as the file is shared with OneDrive, you should be able to access it with the Mac version of OneNote. This means that in order to open a onepkg file on a Mac, it must first be moved to OneDrive using a Windows computer with OneNote installed on it.
By the way: The same procedure applies to users of the Windows 10 OneNote app. The app cannot open onepkg files directly either, but accesses the corresponding content in the cloud after it has been saved to OneDrive via OneNote for Windows.
Can I pass the templates on to third parties?
No, these are commercial products that are not allowed to be passed on to others.
How long can I download a template?
After purchase, the template will be available for download from Digistore24 for 12 months. You can download the file as often as you like during this period – just save the download link.
